2026 Peptide Enforcement Tracker

Every public action against peptide sellers we track - FDA warning letters, a federal asset seizure, a criminal sentencing, and the July advisory votes - one line each, newest first, with a source on every line.

What this pattern means if you run a store

  • Underwriters read this list before they read your application. Processor and bank risk desks search public enforcement records when they review a peptide merchant. A warning letter - or a storefront that reads like the ones below - is a decline or a termination before anyone looks at your volume.
  • Almost every action below started on the website, not in the warehouse. The letters quote sellers' own product pages, disclaimers, and cross-sells back at them. What they cite are patterns matching language quoted in published FDA warning letters - visible to any risk analyst who reads your site the same way the agency does.
  • A disclaimer is not a construction. The July 2026 sentencing involved sites labeled research-use-only throughout. Stores that hold accounts are the ones where compliance is enforced in code on every page and email - built to survive processor underwriting review, not to argue after the fact.

  1. Jul 23-24, 2026

Advisory voteFDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee - over a two-day meeting, voted to recommend six of seven nominated research peptides for the Section 503A bulk compounding list, against the written position of FDA's own review staff; the seventh nomination was voted down. NPR · The Hill An advisory vote is not an approval and does not legalize retail sale. The recommendation is non-binding: FDA must still accept it and complete rulemaking, a process reported at 12-24 months - and it concerns licensed compounding pharmacies, not research-chemical storefronts.

  2. Jul 23, 2026

SentencingU.S. Attorney's Office, W.D. Michigan - announced Brandon Piper was sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for a scheme importing unapproved, misbranded drugs from China and selling them online under "research purposes only" labeling that prosecutors said the sellers knew did not match how customers used the products. This tracker is updated automatically as new actions are published. Entries summarize public records - FDA warning letters, court filings, and agency announcements - with a source link on every line. Names above are entities named in those public records; inclusion reports the record, not commentary on anyone's character. Findings we describe are patterns matching language quoted in published FDA warning letters. This page is general information for store operators, not legal advice, and Stonegate Systems is not a law firm.
